Assembly Revision Logs

Added to Assembly Revisions in Catalog Parts, Assembly Revision logs gives communication functionality on given revisions which promotes an organization's collaboration.

Assembly Revision logs captures

• a user's comments,

• their name,

• the date,

• and the time.

Adding a log entry to an Assembly Revision

1. Navigate to the Assembly Revisions tab.
   Note: one must have permissions to the project.

2. Click on the log icon.
   

   

   The number next to the icon indicates the number of existing log entries.

3. Enter the log message. Note: the Enter key creates a new line; Ctrl+Enter submits the entry.
   

   

4. Hit the Ctrl+Enter or click Save.
   

   

   Note: Log entries cannot be edited once saved.
