Assigning Materials

SpinFire provides the functionality to assign each part of an assembly its own material. This provides a more accurate weight calculation for an overall assembly or subassembly.

SpinFire allows users to,

• Select a material for each part in an assembly,

• Multi-select changing materials, and

• Saves materials In the assembly tree.

With various materials selected for individual parts, viewing the materials list for the top assembly node, shows all the materials selected for all those parts.
