SpinFire Ultimate 11.4.1 is an interim release to update importers notably NX, SolidEdge, and SolidWorks..

Important

Note: The ACT3D file format has slightly changed in 11.4.1. ACT3D files created in 11.4.1 are not compatible with previous versions of SpinFire Ultimate (.e.g. - 11.4.0).

Previous versions of SpinFire Ultimate ACT3D files will however open in 11.4.1.

    • SpinFire is crashing when opening CAD files

  • Catia

    • CATIA V4 file causes SpinFire to hang
    • CATIA V4 file takes a very long time to load
    • CATIA V4 .model file fails to import both 3D and 2D data

    • CATProduct with PMI crashes when opened
    • Specific CATPart does not open

Upgrading from 11.4.0 to 11.4.1

To upgrade SpinFire Ultimate from 11.4.0 to 11.4.1

1. Launch and run the SpinFire.x64.msi (or the SpinFire.x64.exe) and follow the installation wizard instructions. 
   
   or
    
2. Select Check for Updates from the Help menu if you have an Internet connection and are upgrading form 11.1 or greater.
