Centro 7.10.0 Release Notes

Overview

Centro 7.10.0 provides essential support updating to the latest ArangoDB engine, updating importers, adding language support for Chinese (simplified) and adding usability enhancements.

Centro 7.10.0 Changes

• ArangoDB 3.,6.x support
• Importer update
• Manifest file w/ version details added for assembly download
• Set a Catalog Part's primary resource
• Support for Simplified Chinese

Minor Changes

• Pin parts from the Duplicates tab.

• Improve usability of DataDoc property inputs

• Re-run system pipeline jobs is disabled.

• Toggle Names option in Catalog home sections default to visible

• In Admin activity, display the current name of Projects/Users if it differs from the name they had when the activity was recorded

Issues addressed:

• Pipeline

  • Data to Catalog pipeline action creates new DataDocs with the same names and ignores the "How to update an existing DataDoc" option

  • Recent Events list should show same events on page refresh as before refreshing

  • Wrong error message returned when deploying Pipelines

• SpinFire Web
  • SFW loads very slowly for big assemblies

Installation Notes

• If upgrading to ArangoDB 3.6.x, it is recommended to change the storage engine to the RocksDB engine if you are currently using the MMFiles engine. See Upgrading MMFiles to RocksDB in ArangoDB
• The "full" user will have the super user permission automatically added after running the deployment script.

Supported Environments

It's recommended to have n+1 core processors where n is the number of total concurrent jobs running.
