Centro 7.8.1 Release Notes

Note: Centro WebApp requires .NET 4.7.2 or greater.

Overview

Centro 7.8.1 integrate newly supported file formats which includes:

• Catia V5 V5-6 R2019 (R29)
• Creo 6
• Inventor 2020
• Parasolid v31.1
• NX 1847 Series
• STEP XML (Import)

Note - This does not include conversions to ACT3D.

It is recommended that the CAD to SpinFire action is disabled for pipelines that process the above file type+versions.

Issues addressed:

• 3D Search
  • Name search filtering not working after 3D Search Results with a Permission Warning
• Admin Area
  •  Admin front end must check for both active and archived Projects for existing names
  • The table in the Application Settings tab is misaligned in admin area
• Comments
  • Snapshot comment does not show pointer cursor on the entirety of the snapshot image on hove
  • SFW comments module is cut off at the bottom under FireFox
• Catalog
  • Improve error handling when 2GB files are attempted to be uploaded by the CadToCadAction
  • Catalog breadcrumb trail shows wrong breadcrumb in Project view when navigating from Part View 
  • Table styling of Projects List sometimes becomes narrower than it should be, in Firefox
• Installation
  • MaxConcurrentJobs value rewrites after upgrading build
  • German PipelineManager and PiplineHost Installers are missing "Company Name" in Add/Remove Programs
  • WebApp German Installation and Upgrade Issue
  • The installer resets all values in appSettings.config to blank when upgrading from 7.7.2 to 7.8.0
  • Pipeline Host Service installer uses an empty value when "Use SSL" is unchecked
• Pipeline
  • Make use of recently added ignore_pmi options for PNG and SFW conversions
  • Add Random Colors importer option for STL, ProE, ACIS and STEP
  •  IfControl sub-actions are executed regardless of their Disabled state
  •  IfControl dynamic property not found in JobDictionary
• Search
  • Consider adding default searches to the Search dropdown in Catalog 
  • Canned searches should no longer be loaded at the bottom of the Catalog Search page

It's recommended to have n+1 core processors where n is the number of total concurrent jobs running.
