Centro 7.9.0 Release Notes

Overview

Centro 7.9.0 adds more security with a super user permission, provides more accuracy calculating a minimum bounding box, and adds to activity records in the Admin area.

Centro 7.9.0 Changes

  • Physical properties uses a minimum bounding box as rather than an axis bounding box.
    • NOTE: A license.al file is now needed to process the "PhysProps To Catalog" Action
  • SuperUser permission added
  • LDAP changes logged into Admin Activity.
  • Project properties changes logged into Admin Activity.
  • Time in the Job Explorer can be viewed in UTC time.
  • Render mode, part color, and background color are recalled from SpinFire Web comments.

Minor Changes

  • Maximum part count in the Catalog > Projects > Project Part page has changed from 1000 to 10,000.
  • The Job Explorer distinguishes Searching versus Filtering Search results by renaming and adding a tooltip.
  • A FilePath filter field was added in the Job Explorer search result filters section.
  • Checkout control should prevent user interaction when operation is in progress.
  • LDAP out of sync button only appears for users with LDAP permissions
  • When creating a pipeline with the Quick Publisher, the "CAD to PNG" action now appears before the "PhysProps To Catalog" action.
  • "Tags Administration" tab changed to "Tags" in the Admin area.
  • Tooltips added to disabled project buttons in the Admin area.
  • CAD2CAD Conversion Pipeline Action has new option to select "Importer Options".

Issues addressed:

  • Admin Area

    • Option set can be saved without a name during editing.
    •  [[object Object]] appears after LDAP loaded roles.
  • Catalog

    • Catalog parts are shown twice in Favorite Project on Home page.
    • Breadcrumb does not update when click on the first element.
    • The physical properties do not appear in the data grid after using Read Physical Properties.
    • The "Show full precision" mode is set to disabled if the user collapses and then expands the Physical Properties area in the Catalog Part View.

    • Unfavorited project is removed from the Favorited Projects area in the Catalog Home page only after page reload.
    • Not all activities are displayed after the user selects several Action Types and then clicks the Clear All button in the Catalog PartView.
    • Compare page use local pinned parts state, not the most up to date, when comparing.
    • Adding an ampersand (&) to a resource name doesn't work.
    • Category Filter Drop-down list does not match what is shown on Resources tab.
    • The status of the resource is "File ready for upload" even if the file name is blank.
  • Pipeline

    • PipelineHost no longer starts any new jobs in some rare cases.
    • Process cannot access file because it is being used by another process.
  • Preferences

    • Error when a new registered user reloads the Preferences page.
  • Search

    • Part of the list of users to select for sharing an advanced search is hidden under the browser's window
      Adding new subscription with empty filters doesn't match with the correct document.
  • SpinFire Web
    • Measurements checkbox doesn't apply state after restoring snapshot.
    • Properties window scales incorrectly.
    • Unable to delete Filter with special characters.
    • UI displayes all parts as unfavorited on a Project View page after reloading the page
      Text box shrinks in SpinFire Web overlay view when reopening.
    • The bounding box is not as tight as it could be for he hvac assembly.

Installation Notes

  • The "full" user will have the super user permission automatically added after running the deployment script.

The amount of available free space is dependent on the amount and size of files and revisions uploaded as resources to the Catalog.
