Configure ProgramData Folder

The Centro log files and license file default to residing in the c:\ProgramData folder. Centro 8.3.0 permits system administrators to configure the location.

In the centroSettings.config file, the ProgramDataRoot key contains the root path of where to find these two items. An organization’s system admnistrator can change this to a more convenient or secure location.

The LogsFolderLocation and SpinFireLicenseFolderLocation keys are based on the ProgramDataRoot key.

As an example if the ProgramDataRoot key is set to “x:\Actify\ and the SpinFireLicenseFolderLocation key is set to “License”, then Centro will look in “x:\Actify\License” for the license file.
