If an error occurs in the application, a majority of the time the error is logged in a a log file. The log file location is configured in each (Centro Web App, Pipeline Host service, Pipeline Manager Service) applications' CentroSettings.config file.

If the path configured is such that the application does not have write permissions then,

  1. The log file is created in the root folder of the application.

  2. An error message is logged indicating there was a lack of sufficient permissions on the configured LogsFolderLocation path.
