Overview

Centro 7.2 is the latest in data management & data discovery software from Actify, Inc. Users can now search for parts based on 3D geometry, organize their resource files and projects, and access Centro Catalog resources through the Windows file explorer.

Important Notes

Centro 7.2.0 requires a license file to operate CAD conversions to ACT3D and CAD formats. See Centro Licensing for more information.

Centro 7.2.0 also requires ArangoDB to be at 2.8 or higher (but below 3.0).

Bug Fixes

  • Installation

    • The Pipeline Manager title appears differently in the Programs and Features dialog.
  • Catalog
    • Resource list is not updated when adding a new resource.
    • Resource Upload Fails when Files have Special Characters.
    • The long Part Name breaks Download Assembly window.
    • The Catalog part page cannot load if the resource name is greater than 211 characters.
    • Renaming with '%' don't allow to open part.
    • Too long name of advanced search breaks the UI.
    • Possible to create resource with invalid characters. 
    • Align an elements on Project page.
    • Attributes are not disappear when user removes compared part.

    • Checkout assembly - download does not include all selected files.

    • Error received when trying generate thumbnail file, ACT3D file, or SpinFire Web file from the Catalog.

    • Download Assembly shows disabled parts as selected.

    • Dragged favorite part is displayed in incorrect place.

    • Open part in new window not working for assembly tree. 

  • Pipeline Manager
    • The long pipeline name breaks UI.
    • Pipeline Manager takes too long to return pipelines list.
    • Misspelling in "Quick Publisher Creator" modal dialog English text.
    • Possible to set negative value to Priority.
    • No warning is shown when creating a second Pipeline with the same name as an existing pipeline.

    • Pipeline Log: Layout breaks with long file paths.
    • Cad2cad action throws exceptions for SolidWorks parts.
    • Remove mandatory requirement for "Projects" for Data to Catalog action.
    • A pipeline that failed to redeploy is still shown as deployed in the manager.
  • SpinFire Web
    • SpinFire Web action from thumbnail panel not refreshed on check in.

    • Impossible to uncheck all selected attributes.

  • Administration
    • The "R" and "W" buttons no longer work when linking users to projects. 
    • Impossible to update project.
    • Possible to create users with the same username.

    • Token authentication works for disabled user accounts.

    • Aligning the icons on config page.
    • Possible to delete role that's assigned to user.
  • Misc.
    • API request returns status 500 instead of 401 for unauthorized user.

    • Empty projects do not appear in the projects list using the API.
    • Exception is thrown when the user puts too big value into Inactivity Timeout/Sign-in Attempts Before Lockout fields.

    • The toggle rows button doesn't work in one case.

    • Exception is thrown when the user presses on Password reset. 

    • Update scripts needed for ResourceFileInfo.

    • Missing translation.

    • Validation messages don't always reflect the proper error.

    • Invert button tool-tip blocks clicking of button.

    • Change hyphenation on tool-tip.

    • Taskbar overlays the scrolling.
