Gradient Option on the Background Color Window
Rather than forcing a SpinFire user to use two different functions to change the background color and turn on/off gradient fill, the Background Color dialog window includes a Gradient checkbox turn enable or disable gradient backgrounds.
Note: Using the gradient feature flips the gradient checkbox on the background color dialong window.
